PHS Math Curriculum
IMP is Pinedale High School’s base curriculum for all students.  In addition to IMP the high school offers AP Calculus and Trigonometry.  Advanced students taking the IMP classes will be challenged to complete supplementary and advanced work.  For advanced math students to earn an A they will have to complete the challenge portion of the course at a high level of proficiency but they will earn an additional point for their extra work and effort.  Their work will be evaluated on a 5 point scale.  This scale will be the same scale used for honors or advanced placement coursework.

Alignment of IMP to ACT and PAWS Examinations
PHS math teachers are examining and adjusting the current IMP curriculum to ensure alignment to the PAWS and ACT tests.  This work is critical to make sure that students have been taught the required material and are able to perform at high levels of proficiency on these examinations.
